The Arena Football league is about to experience a players’ strike. Players get paid $400 a game. They want a 300 percent increase. Owners countered with a $100 increase offer. The two sides butted heads when Pittsburgh Power owner fired his ENTIRE team hours before the team’s opening game kick-off. Replacement players were used during the game.

Seems pretty drastic. I’m guessing this means that a compromise won’t be happening anytime soon between owners and players. Thank goodness it’s not the NFL.
