J.J. Abrams might just have released “Star Trek Into Darkness”, but that means the focus is going to be solely on “Star Wars: Episode VII”. The Latino Review is reporting that Jonathan Rhys Meyers is up for a starring role. No word on who he’d play and Abrams isn’t going to confirm anything until he has to. So this may just be a rumor as well, given Meyers is going to star in NBC’s “Dracula”. But Meyers has starred in films like “Match Point” and “From Paris With Love” and also is the star on HBO’s “The Tudors” so he’s had a pretty varied career and this would be an interesting choice.
