2011’s “Hugo” from Martin Scorsese was one of my favorite films not only of that year but of this decade so far. Now stars Chloe Moretz (“Carrie”, “Kick-Ass 2”) and Asa Butterfield (“Ender’s Game”) are set to star in “The White Circus”. Cinemablend says the movie is a dark adventure romance with black comedy scattered throughout, following a young pilot whose first mission ends up with him crashing in a war-torn town, where he becomes enamored by a cabaret singer, hangs out with a big talking bear and tries to talk the town into liberating themselves from a despot.

Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski are directing. The pair has been compared to Tim Burton and Terry Gilliam so I’m definitely excited for this one.
