Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” held off “Les Miserables” and “Django Unchained” to take the top spot at the box office once again. Jackson’s prequel earned $32 million, slightly above “Django Unchained”, which came in at $30 million and “Les Miserables”, which earned $28 million.
