Before Christopher Nolan took his vision for Batman with Christian Bale, Warner Brothers was seriously considering a “Batman Beyond” movie, even going as far as hiring people to write the script. Obviously, they went a different route, but could we see the BB movie come to light? Michael Uslan, the executive producer on all the Batman films from Tim Burton’s to Nolan’s, had this to tell the crowd at a recent screening:

“Now if I could put my ‘fanboy hat’ on, not my ‘producer hat.’ How cool would it be to see a Batman Beyond movie? Bruce Wayne in his 80s training a young Batman. And how cool would it be to see Clint Eastwood as Bruce Wayne in his 80s?!”

Obviously nothing is in development. But, this could pose an interesting theory for the Justice League film. Why not introduce a younger Batman? It would give his solo films a much needed different tone from Nolan’s films.
